Now you can see that I’m not just feeding you things but professional wrestlers do get hurt. Yes a lot of what they do is all stunts but there are wrestlers who were force to retire due to their injuries. Here is a photo of Roman Reigns after Monday night. His back has taken a serious beating. Those marks aren’t from the chair that Rollins hit him with but all of the Kendo stick shots that Evolution took out on him. Um… OUCH! Roman Reigns may have exaggerated his pain but not all of it was an act. This is what getting hit eleven times with a stick and a few chair shots can do to you.
The chair shots he got from Rollins is covering up some of the welts he got from the Kendo sticks. That doesn’t really matter because the bottom line is, you can still get hurt. Just read some of the superstars’ books, they give you details about all the bumps, cuts, and bruises that can come from wrestling. It’s easy to spot what is fake on the show and what can really leave a mark. Falling from a ladder and hitting the floor, yeah you can’t fake that. It’s how you fall that you fake. It’s the pain you express that you are feeling that’s fake. Most of the time when the wrestlers are really hurt, they do their best not to show it.
